Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete the data UptenAI holds about you at any time, including data we obtained through a connected platform such as Instagram. This page explains how, and what we delete.

How to request deletion

• Disconnect the channel in UptenAI. In the app, open Settings and choose Disconnect for the connected account. This immediately removes the access tokens and stops any further processing.
• Remove the app from Instagram. In Instagram, go to Settings, then Apps and websites, and remove UptenAI. Instagram notifies us and we delete the data tied to that account automatically.
• Email us. Write to ops@uptenai.com from the email on your account and ask us to delete your data. We confirm once it is done.

What we delete

• the access tokens and profile details for the connected account;
• the comments and direct messages we received for that account, and the reply drafts our AI assistant generated from them;
• the record of that account’s connection to your workspace.

Timeframe

Deletions triggered from the app or by removing the app from Instagram happen immediately. Requests sent by email are completed within 30 days, and usually much sooner. We may retain a minimal record where the law requires us to.
